Bald Eagle Days: January 28-30, 2010
Bald Eagle Days is an annual celebration in Boise, Idaho, held in late January. Free of cost to the general public, its purpose is to raise local awareness, appreciation, and support for the Boise River, Barber Pool, and its wildlife. The celebration's main event will be held at The Idaho Shakespeare Festival facility, located within Barber Pool.
Barber Pool is the perfect place to host Bald Eagle Days, as it supports a communal bald eagle roost and a nesting site. Come celebrate Barber Pool!
Thursday and Friday, January 28 and 29, 2010:
SCHOOL GROUPS AT IDAHO SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL FACILITY
Scheduled in advance, local school groups from the Treasure Valley are invited to The Idaho Shakespeare facility to learn about the Boise River and its importance to local wildlife. Live raptors and educational activities will foster awareness and a stewardship ethic for the Boise River and its wildlife habitat during this educational event.
